Where We Began

In 1969 Saffron Lane athletics stadium was opened.

Former athletics club LCAT moved their base to the new venue and at the same time decide a rebrand was in order. Leicester Coritanian Athletics Club was born.

LCAC quickly became home to the counties top athletes boasting international athletes across a number of events. This success has continued to current times with LCAC being Leicesters number 1 athletics club.
