Meet The Team

Glenys Morton
Lead Coach, Coach Mentor, European Athletics
An athlete with Leicester Coritanian since 1972, I transitioned to coaching in 1999, inspired by the exceptional mentors who shaped my own journey. I strive to give young athletes (whatever their ability) the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
My athletes have gone on to represent England and Great Britain at major international competitions in events such as 200m, 400m, 800m, 110mh, discus throw, shotput and triple jump. As a European Athletics' triple jump coach mentor since 2022, I continue to share my expertise across the continent. My passion lies in nurturing and developing any new talent and to pass on all that I have learnt to a new generation of athletes.

Bill Winter
Lead Coach
As lead endurance coach at Leicester Coritanian, I've spent over three decades nurturing talent from middle distance to cross country.
Throughout my coaching journey, I've helped develop athletes who've progressed from club level to international competition, representing both England and Great Britain. I take pride in welcoming and developing runners of all abilities.
I coach all events from 800m up to and including cross country. I always look forward to welcoming new members, whatever their ability.

Iona Magee
Polevault Coach + Official
As a dedicated athlete of Leicester Coritanian for over 17 years, I've recently evolved from athlete to coach and official, specialising in pole vault. My transition into coaching stems from witnessing the club's legacy of success firsthand.
Drawing from my competitive experience, I'm committed to creating opportunities for the next generation of athletes to excel in this dynamic event.

Stephanie Magee
Club Secretary + Official
As club secretary at Leicester Coritanian, I take pride in being the connecting thread between our athletes, coaches, and officials.
My role goes beyond organizing committee meetings and managing correspondence — I help bring competitions to life, ensuring our athletes have every opportunity to compete and excel.
From coordinating league meetings to organizing our home events, I work behind the scenes to keep our athletic community thriving. Having served as both secretary and official, I understand first-hand the vital role everyone plays in our club's success, and I'm always here to help our members navigate the exciting world of athletics.
